Social distancing will be our new normal for the next few weeks along with working from home. Keeping some normality in our personal lives is very important to prevent isolation and depression.
The world as we know it has changed quickly in a matter of days. So many of us have had to cancel everything because of the outbreak. Life as we know it has come to an unknown halt.
We had to cancel our Spring and Summer trips to Europe to meet with our parents. So quickly has this pandemic taken over our daily routine. But staying at home and practicing social distancing is our best line of defense of protecting ourselves and our loved ones during this uncertainty.
What we can do to keep our mind, body and soul healthy?
- Try to keep your usual routine. It suddenly seems that we have so much time. Do not try to manage everything at once. There is a risk that you won’t be able to finish each project, which can bring depressive mood. Instead, start with one small project and go on. (Organize your closet, clean kitchen cabinets, dust your chandeliers – that’s a fun one, do some gardening, only few to think about…).
- Make every day video calls with your family and friends. With the situation changing every minute, be sure to stay in contact with your loved ones.
- Keep working out. If you never did – now is perfect time to start. There are many great routines on YouTube, that are worth trying. I’m sure you’ve heard that it’ll make you feel happier, so release those endorphins 😊 .
- Watch your old time favorite movies and finally finish this boring but very smart book you started to read in 2015 😊.
- Show more love to your family and pets. They need it as much as you do. A little more attention to their needs doesn’t take much time while making the social distancing more bearable, because you have each other.
- Learn something new online. Take Photoshop lessons, cooking classes, watch make-up tutorials or how to do your own mani-pedi (very important right now 😊). You also can go back to school and finish your MBA, it’s up to you. Just learn something!
- And last, but not least, try to look presentable while staying at home. It really helps you to stay more focused and organized, and feel better in general.
I hope you are doing well. Stay healthy and fabulous.
Much love! 💗

Hello, my darlings, welcome back to my blog.
Today I want to introduce you to another ethical brand, that creates gorgeous leather bags and accessories for men and women. I am a bagoholic (yes, guilty as charged) and time to time I saw Fount bags mentioned on Purse Blog and pinned on Pinterest boards. So when they were sending me bag as a part of our collaboration, I was very intrigued. It arrived beautifully packaged, with high-quality hand-book (gorgeous photos, btw), extra business cards, hand written note and dust bag (of cause). Everything and more I would expect from the high – quality leather goods. I ordered THE COVENTRY BUCKET BAG that has this modern bucket shape, that I didn’t own in my collection before. When I first saw it, I thought “bohemian chic”, that’s the kind of bag I would love to wear to festivals / concerts (when we are back to normal from this coronavirus hysteria, oh well…). Anyways, it has this gorgeous patina, that you can see on highest grade of leather and solid brass hardware, that looks amazing with any color they offer. The color palette is very earthy and includes rich beautiful natural colors that suit anyone. I really was impressed with the bag. And I can easily style it for going out on the weekend or for everyday wear. This particular bag is in petite size, wich I prefer anyways, but they have a bigger version here. My first look is down below:

A bit information about brand. FOUNT is a design and production house based out of Cleveland, Ohio, with a focus on fine leather bags and other accessories. The company began in early 2014 as husband and wife creative team, Phillip and Jackie Wachter, began to pursue their passion to create quality products that are ethically made. What started simply as a side project, making handbags and accessories out of their home, quickly turned into a bustling creative studio in downtown Cleveland, now employing 46 team members and counting. Btw, all products are made to order, crafted in small batches made by hand. Very impressive, if you ask me…
Here are some reasons why you can decide for these bags without any doubts:
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL
- MINDFULNESS ABOUT FASHION
- ETHICALLY CREATED & PRODUCED
- QUALITY PRODUCTS
And here is more casual look for you. I am wearing my vintage wool blazer, baggy jeans from Free People and Jon Josef Cast Low Heel Pointed Toe Bootie.

With Spring and Summer approaching, I’m constantly looking for some versatile layering pieces to refresh my wardrobe. When Wooden Ships company contacted me, I was really happy to collaborate with them.
Their lightweight, high quality knit pieces were just what I was looking for. With so many beautiful themed designs to choose from, this particular sweater got my attention. If you know me well, you know that I’m a strong believer in Karma, I believe that things happen for a reason. That’s why I decided to get this gorgeous KARMA CREW COTTON sweater. Can’t wait to style it many different ways. But for now when it’s still chilly here, I styled it with my white distressed Rag&Bone slim boyfriend jeans and white Franco Sarto booties. The round RayBan glasses add just a bit more boho touch.
Back to the brand… The other reason why I was very exited to work with this particular company, because they care about our planet. And I am a big supporter of that.
Here is some information about Wooden Ships company, that make them stand out.
This family-owned company started 25 years ago by Paola Buendia and Mark Donovan. They fell in love with Bali, where they opened an eco-frendly facility, that produces all of their knitwear and accessories. They believe in no-waste approach, each piece is made to order. 85 % of their factory runs on solar energy. They also make sure to give back by raising the money to help protect our environment.
We all must think more about our clothing and fashion choices partially by supporting brands, which are owned by people who are just as passionate about the environment and doing their bit to help reduce the impact of fast fashion.
Please take a look at their entire collection of beautiful knits here.

A short video from our trip to Hawaii in January 2019. Miss this beautiful place already…
Our tradition continues and this year for Alex’s birthday we decided to fly away… Waaay away :-))). Oahu, Hawaii to be exact. The flight was perfect. It was my first time flying first class. I finally crossed this off my “bucket list” and experienced the real life behind the curtain (that’s where passengers might be feasting on fine wine and warmed nuts, enjoying movies on large screens with noise-canceling headphones, and sleeping in lie-flat beds on lengthy flights). It only has ONE downside – it ruins coach for you forever ;-))). Anyway, after landing we rented a car at the airport, drove to the hotel and tried to find some trendy places to eat outside the Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort. It wasn’t easy in the dark, I must say, but we finally found the exit trough the parking garage (what???). Make sure you have a hotel map handy ;-).
On the first morning we decided to explore the famous North Shore of Oahu. After an hour drive from busy Waikiki we arrived to the very picturesque part of the island. Pineapple fields, horse farms and cute little towns full of surfers from around the world – you just have to see this part of the island to appreciate it’s laid back way of life. The view of the North Shore of Oahu is very impressive. I never had to enjoy such a fantastic view with my morning cup of coffee.
Just beyond the northern tip, we discovered Fumi’s Kahuku Shrimp track and enjoyed some of the islands best and freshest garlic shrimps! Delicious!
On the next day we went for a hike in Diamond Head State Park. This hike offers breathtaking views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu. In fact the view is so good, it was used by the US military as a post for preventing attacks against Honolulu.
The trail takes you to the edge of a 300,000 year old crater. While the hike isn’t that long in terms of distance, it was somewhat challenging, especially the steep 99 steps at the end.
On the way home we stopped at the Lanai Lookout Point. The view, again, is incredible. Locals assure you can see humpback whales breaching in the Pacific Ocean in the months of December thru May. It was the end of January and I was hoping for the opportunity to see some of them, but we weren’t lucky enough this time. I really recommend to visit this place, not only because of whales, but just to enjoy the sounds of waves and meditation.
Next day was rainy and turned out it was the perfect weather for visiting Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden. This place is surreal. After seeing it on IG so many times I just had to visit it to make sure it’s as beautiful as they say it is. It was even more… It was overwhelming. At some point I had a feeling I’m on the “Jurassic Park” set. No wonder they were filming in these mountains! Your life might not be the same after visiting this place ;-))).
We took a long way home and found couple of gorgeous little beaches. The waves and wind were pretty strong despite the sunny day, so we just walked around and played with the sand.
Next on our list was Dole Plantation. Very cute place that will make you love a very good ripe pineapple! I never thought that these can taste so sweet and delicious when fresh from the field. Yum!
Next “must see” is the Byodo-In Temple, that was built in the 1960’s to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the first Japanese immigrant workers in Hawaii. It is a replica of the 950-year-old Byodoin Temple located in Kyoto, Japan.
The Byodo-In Temple is a non-denominational Buddhist temple which welcomes people of all faiths to worship, meditate or simply appreciate its beauty.
And there it was… our last sunset in Waikiki. We had so much fun exploring the island, but I feel we still have much more to see and experience. Already miss this amazing place. Mahalo nui loa, Hawaii
🌺🌴🤙. See you soon!
